Innovations-Pavilion

The Pavilion is made out of 2 reinforced concrete cubes. One is one-storey high and the other one two-storey high. They are connected by a glass building. Within the scope of a Pavilion on the occasion of the Expo 2010 in Shanghai, the objective is the presentation of possibilities of energy efficiency and innovative construction methods and construction techniques.

An innovative technology is realized by considerable companies, particularly under use of renewable sources of energy in the Pavilion. The entire building-technical equipment technology of the full-air conditioning of the Pavilion is represented in the single-storey Technique Building. The full-air conditioning is regulated and supervised by a DDC for a suitable usage and ideal consumption. Energies available free of charge, such as solar energy, geothermal energy is used in the project. To the technical building equipment belongs the guarantee of a functioning and optimized irrigation system and drainage system. Therefore, the Pavilion project reuses the rain water for the sanitary plumbing.

The involved companies introduce also „active windows”, window with integrated LED illuminating engineering, modern shading possibilities and heating glass. Additionally is presented an intelligent building control system, which has got a high control comfort.
